About Us

An event to Remember

Teenstock is your stage. Founded in South Florida and now held in Florida, New York, and California, our festival brings together talented young musicians aged 19 & under to showcase their art in a space of encouragement and discovery.

This isn't a competition, and it's not a battle of the bands. It's an invitation --- for you to say "this is who I am, and this is what I do."

From Florida roots to national stages — Teenstock has grown into Teenstock International, expanding our mission of supporting young musicians beyond state lines.

The vision began with Paul Kasin, a seasoned bass player with over three decades of experience and the driving force behind South Florida’s Rough Shot Band. He teamed up with Orl Hernandez, the powerhouse behind FHR Radio Entertainment, a fully licensed online radio station broadcasting for over 20 years. Together, they built Teenstock into a platform where young artists can shine.

Is Teenstock a Competition or Battle of the Bands

No way. Teenstock is not about prizes or battling others. We believe every artist deserves the same chance to perform, learn, and be heard.

How can my child be part of the upcoming lineup?

Parents interested in having their child perform at any upcoming Teenstock event just need to reach out to us at teenstock@fhrradio.com. Your child or band members must be in the 19 and under age group. We accept all genres of music except rap, controversial songs, political songs or songs with explicit lyrics. You can also click on the "performer link" on our website.

How many slots do you have available?

Depending on the amount of inquiries we get about performing we adjust the available slots accordingly. But please note that performance slots fill up quickly. So the earlier you secure a spot the better it is.

What age group does my child have to be?

The performing child must be no more than 19 years old by event time.

Can we pick and choose time slots?

We try our best to meet scheduling requests, but we can’t promise exact slots. Once you're booked, we’ll give you a performance time within the festival schedule.

Do performers have to be from Florida?

Across multiple locations — Florida, California, New York — under the banner of Teenstock International. (Even if you're out of state or international, feel free to apply.)

What kind of music can a young band or individual performer do?

Teenstock welcomes all genres and styles — from rock and pop to jazz, blues, country, and beyond. As long as the music is family-friendly (no explicit, political, or inappropriate content), the stage is yours. We celebrate diversity in sound and encourage you to bring your unique voice.

How does my child audition for a performing spot?

At Teenstock, we believe every young artist deserves to be heard. That’s why we don’t hold auditions. If your child is 19 or under and passionate about performing, they can apply to be part of the festival, and we’ll do our best to give them a spotlight.
